Known professionally as "Baby Ariel", Ariel is recognized as one of the most influential people on the Internet by Time magazine and is featured on Forbes' 2017 list of top entertainment influencers. She has been nominated for a number of awards, and won the Teen Choice Award for "Choice Muser" in 2016 and 2017. Ariel began contributing to the video social network Musical.ly in May 2015. As of 2018, she has over 26 million followers on the app. Ariel has also built a following on other social media networks, including more than 9 million followers on Instagram, 2.9 million subscribers on YouTube, 1 million followers on Twitter, and 280 thousand followers on Facebook. In 2015, Ariel launched an anti-bullying campaign called #ArielMovement, described by BlackBook as one of her most important endeavors. People magazine recognized her for her support in the #HackHarassment initiative to stop Internet trolls and negativity on the Internet. Ariel signed with Creative Artists Agency in September 2016 and released her debut single "Aww" on December 1, 2017. She released her second single "Perf" on January 17, 2018.
