Chris Gainsbury is a Manchester-based Production Manager and Producer originally from Borneo in Southeast Asia. His background is predominantly in advertising and commercials, though he has extensive experience on a range of productions including micro-budget shorts, independent feature films and documentaries.
Through his career, he has worked with internationally acclaimed talent including Stephen Graham, Meryl Streep, Lena Headey, celebrated author Irvine Welsh, and Oscar-winning director Steven Soderbergh.
Chris co-produced the independent feature film 'Corruption II' (2016), which premiered in Times Square, New York, securing online distribution later that year. In 2022, he worked as Production Manager on Ed Sheeran's sixth studio album 'Subtract' (2023) - a visual album featuring 14 music videos filmed on location in Suffolk. Most recently, Chris worked with the band Florence + The Machine on a series of music videos and visualisers for their album 'Everybody Scream' (2025).
