Brian Paul is a 2020 graduate of the American Film Institute MFA Screenwriting program, Los Angeles, CA. His BA is in Dramaturgy / Theater Studies at The Conservatory of Theater Arts at Webster University, St. Louis, MO. BP, who is a produced playwright both in Los Angeles and New York, began his writing career when TV actor Chad Allen produced /starred in BP's first play "Change at Babylon" at the famed Tiffany Theater in West Hollywood. At AFI, Brian Paul studied Feature Screenwriting under Stan Chervin, Oscar-nominated screenwriter of Moneyball (2011); and Karen Janszen, who wrote A Walk to Remember (2002) and Dolphin Tale (2011). As part of the AFI curriculum, Brian Paul wrote several short narrative films. Beyond the faculty at AFI, Brian Paul mentors with former HBO Development Consultant Janna Gelfand. At the moment, Brian Paul is in collaboration with TV actor Joely Fisher on several scripted projects, as well as stand-up comedian Savannah K.
