- Aruna Bhatia was born in 1942 in India. She was a film producer and the mother of actor Akshay Kumar. She was the co-owner of her son's film production banner Hari Om Productions and has also produced several of her son's films. She was married to an ex-army officer Hari Om Bhatia until his death. She died on September 08, 2021 in Mumbai, Maharashtra at the age of 79 because of an illness.
