Medet Shayakhmetov

Medet Shayakhmetov is a New York-based Kazakh director and creative director focused on the integration of cinematic craft and digital artistry. As the lead of the PBC Worldwide collective, he develops hybrid film projects that push the boundaries of conventional media. Medet’s experience includes a tenure as a lead creative and director of visuals at EDGLRD and serving as the 2nd Unit Director on Harmony Korine’s Baby Invasion (2024). He has maintained a consistent creative practice for artists and brands including Kanye West, Terrence Malick, Ken Carson, Chief Keef, Gucci Mane, PgLang, Valentino, Vans, i-D magazine, Meta, Comme des Garçons, Reebok and more.
