Bahram Afshari

Bahram Afshari is an Iranian actor, director, and writer. He graduated from Tehran Azad University in acting and is considered one of the most profitable Iranian actors. He first appeared on television with the series Rented House. He rose to fame by appearing in the fifth, sixth, and seventh seasons of the series Paytakht as Behtash Fariba and won the Hafez Statue for Best Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in the series Paytakht. He was also nominated for the sixth and seventh seasons of Paytakht, Ali El-Bal and Raz Baqa. Afshari's first appearance in cinema was the film I'm Not Angry, and after that he appeared in the films Iran Burger, Lantour, Kargar Sadeh Niyazdahim, and Chesh and Gosh Besh. He also appeared in the series New Camp and Ajl Mokal as a script designer. Afshari won the Crystal Simorgh for Best Actor in a Leading Role at the 44th Fajr Film Festival for his role in the film Zende Shoor.
