Biography

Joshua Mark Sienkiewicz is an actor, writer, producer, and set builder. He started acting in New York City, studying and performing at the T. Schreiber Studio and Theater. He has performed in several Off and Off-Off Broadway plays, regularly working with Nylon Fusion Theater Group and John Patrick Shanley. He is a co-founder of the production company Drowning In Blue where he served as Artistic Director and Company Writer. The short film Sunday Water, which premiered at the New Orleans Film Festival, was his first screenplay.

Joshua taught in the public schools of New Jersey. He was a resource room Language Arts and Math teacher.

Joshua taught children with Autism while working his way through college. He graduated with Honors from Kean University, in Union, New Jersey. His degree is a Bachelor of Arts in Teacher of the Handicapped.

Joshua played KENNY, in Lisa D'Amour's Pulitzer prize finalist play DETROIT, at Souther Rep. Which was a New Orleans premiere for the play. He added a breakdancing move -The Worm - to a party scene in Act 3. He's very proud of that artistic contribution.
