Francisco Sanchez Solis is a Mexican director, writer, and producer. An NYU Tisch alum, Francisco's practice focuses on exploring narratives about family, childhood, and loss. Tiempo de Jacarandas is his debut feature. His short films have screened at festivals like Guadalajara, São Paulo, Moscow, Huesca, and Chicago Latino. As a producer, his credits include the award-winning documentary Sanctuary, the queer drama All of the Fires, and the teenage horror Don't Follow Me, the first Spanish-language Blumhouse film. He was also executive producer of the horror hits Huesera and Párvulos.
