Wesley Rickert is a Canadian director, writer & producer of low budget art house films. Between film projects he pursues life as performance poet, noise musician, painter & sculptor. His unique films combine his obsession for working with the aesthetics of language & meaning, abstract fictional characters and his zeal for exploring diverse elements of art house cinema. He has made 7 feature films that defy easy categorization and is a regular contributor to "Maintenant -A Journal of Contemporary Dada", Three Rooms Press, NYC, and has traveled & performed with the legendary Canadian sound poet bill bissett.
To facilitate the production of yet to be made films, Wes is also the director of Liberty Manor, an artist run film ranch & artist residency located in the Thousand Islands district of Canada.
