Ashley was born Ashley Smith. Her mother, Peggy Mrace, is a 1st
assistant accountant. Her aunt is a key accountant. Ashley's sister,
Stephanie Smith has also worked in the industry as an accountant.
Ashley grew up mostly in Port Dover, On. Though she has moved around a lot, she always found home in Port Dover. Ashley attended 2 elementary schools and 4 high schools, graduating in 2004 from Thomas L Kennedy in Mississauga, On. From there she went to hair school in Winnipeg, MB, and after completing her apprenticeship, she went to school to be a Personal Support Worker. After a back injury, she switcher careers again and got into film.
