Carissa McQueen
- Script and Continuity Department
Carissa is drawn to all forms of story, feeling strongly that the written word, visual mediums, song and dance each have an essential place in humanity. Following her passion to London, she earned a Master's Degree in Children's Literature at the University of Roehampton. After a stint working as a grant writer for an arts & literacy nonprofit, Carissa was tapped to serve as Script Supervisor on a debut feature film owing to her keen eye for detail, lightning fast mind, and deep knowledge of storytelling structure. Although she had never considered a career in film, Carissa fell in love with the role and quickly pivoted to full-time script supervising work, primarily on narrative features. She is known as a valuable partner in the filmmaking process, frequently collaborating with producers and directors on multiple projects in Los Angeles and abroad.
