Biography

Sean is a Los Angeles-based, multi-award-winning music supervisor and eight-time Guild of Music Supervisor Awards nominee. Over his 20+ year career as a music executive, he has supervised music on over 50 feature films and television series--under Rock Steady Music, Hasbro/Entertainment One, The Wilders, and now The Music Dept--for such notable producers and directors as: Aaron Sorkin, Darren Aronofsky, Adam McKay, Jon S. Baird, Kristen Wiig, Reed Morano, Sam Taylor-Johnson, Scott Beck & Bryan Woods, Olivia Wilde, Lucy Hale, Greg Kinnear, Mark Gordon, Brad Weston, David Ayer, Bryan Fuller, Christian Gudagest, and Tucker Tooley. He is an expert licensor having successfully negotiated agreements for the use of thousands of songs as both a licensor and licensee, while overseeing the hiring of musical talent and the creation and production of original music across a diverse range of genres and a variety of audio-visual media. In 2023 he was awarded the International Music + Sound Award for 'Best Sync in a Film' for his work on Erica Tremblay's 'Fancy Dance' (Apple Films); along with a Canadian Sync Award for the same. In 2025 he was awarded a Canadian Sync Award for music in Idris Elba's documentary series 'Paid In Full: The Battle For Black Music' (BBC). He and his team are especially proud of their work supporting music event fundraisers for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
