Olesya Shchukina is an animation filmmaker and illustrator born in St Petersburg, Russia. She directed Le vélo de l'éléphant (2014), a short film produced by Folimage studio, France. In 2016 she made The Sled, a 4 minute animation for Soyuzmultfilm studio. She worked as a set painter and illustrator for My Life as Courgette, stop-motion feature directed by Claude Barras.
