Charles Melton was born on January 4, 1991 in Juneau, Alaska, USA. He is an actor and producer, known for May December (2023), Warfare (2025) and Riverdale (2017). He has been married to Camille Summers since May 2026.

Charles was born in Juneau, Alaska, and was raised in Manhattan, Kansas. His mother, Sukyong, is Korean. His father, Philip, is from a family with deep roots in North Carolina, and is mainly of British descent.

He has a black belt in Taekwondo which he practiced since when he was 11 and competing in the Junior Olympics while in Seoul, Korea.

Grew up as an army brat, often moving because of his father's job.

Replaced Ross Butler as Reggie on Riverdale (2017) starting season 2, as Butler had scheduling conflicts.

Is the godfather of Kj Apa's son Sasha.
