Biography

Steven Blades is a British actor and former Royal Marines Commando. His recent screen work includes playing Commander Tully in Jean-François Richet’s action thriller Mutiny (2026), starring Jason Statham, and Bull in Amazon Prime Video’s psychological thriller The Devil's Hour (2022). Blades has also appeared as Engineer in the global live-action campaign for Battlefield 6 (2025), bringing his extensive military experience to one of the world’s most recognisable action franchises.

Before establishing himself as an actor, Blades served as a Royal Marines Commando, gaining operational experience in Afghanistan. Following his military career, he worked internationally in maritime security and close protection before making the transition into film and television. That background has given him an instinctive understanding of movement, discipline and behaviour under pressure, qualities that have become an important part of the authenticity he brings to the screen.

His credits also include Harper in Sunray: Fallen Soldier (2024), alongside appearances in Coronation Street (1960) and action features including One More Shot (2024), The Siege (2023), 400 Bullets (2021) and All the Devil's Men (2018).
