  • Jen Sall is an award-winning writer, director and producer (BAFTA, PGA and Television Academy Member). Originally from DC, Jen's work is inspired and informed by her time abroad, studying and living in both Rio de Janeiro and Rome, where she learned five languages and worked as an interpreter at a David Bowie concert. Jen is a 2023 Gracie Award Winner from the Alliance for Women in Media. Jen was also one of eight women selected for the 2020 Women in Screen Workshop, hosted by the Australian Screen Forum. Jen recently directed the short film, Your Night is My Day, starring Benjamin Earl Turner (Blindspotting) which will World premiere at the 2025 Mill Valley Film Festival. The short is based on her series of the same name, a semi-finalist in the Sundance Institute Episodic Lab. This is one of three short films she raised financing, co-wrote and directed in the past year. The first, This Could Have Been an Email, is a 2025 Cleveland International Film Festival and Cinequest Film Festival selection (both Oscar qualifying festivals) as well as other festivals around the world. The feature script of This Could Have Been an Email, titled SuperNormal is a Screenplay Finalist at the 2025 Cordillera International Film Festival. Another script, Operation: Miniskirt is a 2025 Austin Film Festival Screenplay Second Rounder. She is in development on a series she created starring Erika Alexander (American Fiction, Get Out). She has directed branded project for various companies and brands including Cultured starring Sarah Sherman (SNL), CHIEF and California Suicide Awareness. She's produced for prestigious studios and companies including Apple, Disney, Hello Sunshine, Viacom and Warner Brothers. Jen was a producer on the 2023 Emmy Nominated Eat The Rich: The GameStop Saga for Netflix, RISE for Hello Sunshine directed by Nisha Ganatra and Swipe Night: Killer Weekend, an Emmy nominated series, which received the 2022 Experiential Idea of the Year from AdAge.
