Biography

Grace Chilton graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (BA Acting) and won the Highly Commended Spotlight Prize that year. She went on to train with the National Youth Theatre REP Company. Her screen debut was as lead 'Reg' in the short 'Exchange and Mart' (Digicult & Hopscotch) playing opposite Ewen Bremner. The film premiered at a number of festivals including Sundance and Berlinale and was nominated for best short at Scottish BAFTA. She then co-starred with Susan Lynch in neo-noir indie feature 'Cold Blow Lane' (Swamp Light Productions) which screened at Working Title Film Festival in Italy's oldest running cinema. After winning 'Lift Off's Feature Seasons' it was subsequently shown at Pinewood. Grace is also known for Ben Sharrock's double BAFTA nominated and 4x BAFTA Scotland award winning 'Limbo'. She played opposite Lesley Manville and Mark Bonnar in World on Fire S2 (BBC/Mammoth) and was DC Alice Hardy in 6 part thriller 'Payback' starring Peter Mullan and Morven Christie (ITV & Britbox)
