Biography

Iranian Cinematographer, Ehsan Abbasi, currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Ehsan has an extensive education with degrees in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, Media Innovations and a Master's in Arts of Communication. He has been recognized for his academic and professional achievements in both theoretical science and film industry with over 30 national and international awards and exhibitions. Ehsan partnered with award winning Director, Matt Blackburn in 2017 to start ORDER DISRUPTION (Order, US Company), a film production company. With offices in Los Angeles and Atlanta they have created several short films and commercials and are currently working on their first feature length.

Ehsan Abbassei was born in 1982, Gorgan, Iran. He engaged in artistic activities as actor, director, narrator, production and post production manager and theater. He has won several awards as an actor and director in cinema and theater. He consecutively won 'Best Actor of Year' award from Iran Ordibehesht (May) Theatre Celebration for two times and also announced as an acclaimed artist in directing from Celebration of Art Theater.

He has taken the significant roles in several splendid feature films including 'Bomb, A Love Story' directed by Peyman Maadi, 'No Date, No Signature' director by Vahid Jalilvand and TV series such as 'Dance on the Glass', ' Cold Blood'.

Ehsan Abbassei began his filmmaking career since 2019 and made his first film entitled 'Two Weeks Later' which was selected and awarded in Iranian Film Festival, San Fransisco and International Decine Feciso Festival.

Lost Swan' is being distributed worldwide and recently won the best film award from Jazzies Film Festival, UK.
