Julian J. Walker

Julian J. Walker (he/him/his) is an award-winning actor, activist, director, and producer known for his performances in Patrik-Ian Polk's Blackbird, BOUNCE TV's Saints & Sinners, and BET's hit series Being Mary Jane. Named by the Los Angeles Times as one of "Eight Young Black Actors to Watch," the Jackson, MS native continues to use his artistry to uplift and represent marginalized voices. His debut poetry collection, A Year Without You, was honored on NBC News' "Best Black Queer Books" list in 2020 for its heartfelt exploration of love, loss, and healing. Expanding his artistic reach into music, Julian released his new EP, My Sunflower - a deeply personal two-song project that reflects his emotional and mental journey since his 2022 release Fall 2020.

Through his creative journey, Julian redefines what representation can look and feel like-merging authenticity, purpose, and artistry to build space for others to belong.
