Surho Sugaipov was born in Grozny, Chechen Republic. He is an actor, writer, and director, known for The Bureau (2015), Totems (2021), and Nightlife (2020).
After being discovered by a casting scout, Sugaipov was invited to audition in Belgium and was subsequently cast in the lead role of Sarah Leonor’s feature film Le grand homme (2014). This marked the beginning of his work across French and German cinema and television.
Surho also works as a filmmaker, writing and directing his own material. His short film DARA earned recognition at several international festivals
