Biography

Daniel Gravelli is a Brazilian actor, writer, director and producer. He is graduated on Cinema and TV in Brazil, he also studied at Acting International in France and participated on the Workshop "Acting for Film and Tv", in Hollywood, given by the founder of the comedy club "The Groundlings Theatre", directors and professors from L.A.

Since he was a child, he has been working at the artistic world. When he was 6 years old, he lived his first main character on theater and, also as a child, he started writing poems, which increased his interest in other jobs as a writer. On his teenage years, he made his first movie, "Shadows of Perfection", a medium length suspense movie made with his own resources.

When he was 15 years old, he founded his theatrical group "Excêntrica Trupe Cênica", which he is still on charge of. The group has more than 20 jobs on its resume, highlighting the pocket show "The Comedy", the children's play "Utopia - The Kingdom of Dreams" and the psychological drama play "Between Heaven and Hell".

On the cinema, until 2013, he has directed the short film "Terminal", "Dreams", "Narrow Paths" and "Timing of a Lapse", being the last two selected to festivals.

For three years now, he and two other partners have been the head of Wallaroo Corp. Besides participating as the producer on many projects, he has written and directed the short length movies "Ashes and Coffee", featuring Helg Nemeczyk, Andre Ramiro and Erom Cordeiro, and "The delirious story of a dead man", in which he repeated the partnership with Helga. Both movies are being sent to festivals together with "Soldier of an empty war", a short length movie directed by Paulo Oliveira, with Daniel working as screenwriter and actor.

In 2015, he has developed a new concept for the play "Utopia - The Kingdom of Dreams" and has written, directed and acted on the return of "Between Heaven and Hell" to the stage. This play approaches a psychological theme and starts a new season on the second semester of 2017.

Lately, Daniel has been involved on the simultaneous production of the short length movies "The Kiss of Margaux", "Glass" and "Dried Leaves", , trilogy that talks about the parameters between the innocence and fierceness of different women. He is also preparing himself to direct the feature Film "Zona X".
