Kathy Bruner is a director/producer/writer, passionate about nonfiction storytelling. Last Year at the Crossing is Kathy's first feature length documentary and is her MFA thesis film from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Kathy teaches film and media production at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, where empowering and collaborating with undergraduate filmmakers is her greatest joy. Kathy is married to John, a fiction filmmaker, and the two enjoy spending time with her teenaged son Andrew and yellow lab Jack. When she's not teaching or making films, she can be found in her perennial garden or reading nonfiction.
