Biography

Brett David Stelter is an international award-winning filmmaker, actor, writer, musician & producer born in Long Beach, CA. He started making films in 8th grade by producing his middle school's first ever video yearbook then screening it for the entire school. He graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science where he also played football, soccer and basketball. His films have been screened all over the world in Australia, Ethiopia, Greece, Portugal, Wales, UK & United States and have earned him awards and nominations for best film at multiple festivals. He's been a member of the Screen Actors Guild since 2016 and has been nominated for best actor at multiple film festivals for various performances.

In Los Angeles, he studied at Upright Citizen's Brigade, Ivana Chubbuck Studio and was mentored and trained by Academy Award Nominee Michael J. Pollard. He's performed in the Hollywood Fringe Festival and has done stand-up comedy at The Improv & The Comedy Store in Hollywood as well as Rozco's Comedy Club in Austin. His Grandfather was W. David Sievers the founding faculty member of the Cal State Long Beach Theater Arts Program.
