He has had several songs chart in Canada, including four #1 on the Billboard Canada Country, "Airwaves", "Drink About Me", "A Few Good Stories", and "Make a Life, Not a Living". He has been nominated for multiple awards, winning the Junos for Breakthrough Artist of the Year in 2014 and Country Album of the Year in 2022, and winning the CCMAs for Male Artist of the Year in 2016, 2017, and 2020.
