Biography

Christian López Lamelas is a Spanish actor and filmmaker from Barcelona, based between New York and Spain. His screen work includes Genius: Picasso (National Geographic), where he worked alongside Antonio Banderas, as well as roles in Vampire Academy (Universal), Netflix’s Olympo, and Movistar+ productions including Matar al oso and Palomares. He has also performed in Off-Broadway theatre in New York and appeared in campaigns for brands such as HP, PlayStation, Sprite, and Loewe.

As a creator, he has developed multiple series and short film projects and co-founded Handful Films in the U.S. The company’s co-produced short film La Gran Obra received the Grand Jury Award at Sundance, the Goya Awards for Best Fiction Short Film, and was shortlisted for the Academy Awards.
