Deanna MAD

Deanna MAD is a comedian, writer and actress. She has performed stand up across North America since 2013 and appeared on Amazon Prime's First Nation's Comedy Experience in 2018. Deanna joined the cast of the Netflix's animated Native American series Spirit Rangers for all three seasons and was the co-lead on the indie queer short Julie Takes A Walk in 2025. Deanna was born in La Mesa, California and was raised by former members of the American Indian Movement and Gen-X party girls. Her father emigrated to San Diego from San Felipe, Mexico and her mother is an enrolled member of the Tonawanda Seneca Nation which is part of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. She caught the acting bug from her childhood obsession with Shirley Temple and discovered a talent for stand up comedy while pursuing an Anthropology degree at Fort Lewis College.
