Karin Carnaroli Garfin is an award-winning journalist and television producer based in New York City. A distinguished member of the both Emmy voting organizations: Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, (ATAS) National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, (NATAS), as well as the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, (BAFTA). Karin is the executive producer of new talk show 5th Row Center ...with Roma Torre, a news and entertainment show focused on Broadway and live theater. With over a decade of experience producing national talk shows, Karin spent many years as a live control room and show producer for MSNBC News-where she honed her skills in fast-paced, high-stakes broadcast environments producing and writing two hours of live news every single day. Her deep-rooted expertise spans four local television news stations across the United States, including WTVJ-TV Miami, WTEN-Tv Albany, NY, WGGB-TV Springfield MA, and WTNH-TV New Haven CT, where she covered every major news story of the modern era, giving her a rare, insightful, ground-up understanding of the industry. She is the founder and creative force behind Broadway Broadcasting, an independent production company dedicated to creating bold, original programming.
