Born in Queens and raised in the Mid Ohio Valley, Timm ended up in Pittsburgh to study filmmaking, with a focus on editing and coordinating. Both during and beyond college he has collaborated on several innovative projects and prefers working behind the scenes with logistics and technology. He now works in movie advertising in Los Angeles.
