He graduated from Institute of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 1969.In 1973, he plays first role in the movie Cantemir .Other notable roles in films : Misterul lui Herodot (1976), Stephen the Great: Vaslui 1475 (1975) and Cantemir (1973).
