  • Nicole Katzew is a Mexican filmmaker and actress with over a decade of experience in performing, directing, producing, and writing for stage, film, and television. At 16, she made her acting debut in the play "Amores Extraños Amores," portraying an 80-year-old woman. In 2011, she relocated to New York City to pursue formal acting studies at the New York Film Academy, graduating with honors. Over the years, Nicole ventured into the film industry, working as an assistant director and script supervisor.

    She is renowned for her direction of the award-winning dark comedy, "¿Qué Harías?," which delves into Mexico's current insecurity situation. Additionally, Nicole wrote and produced "Crónic@," a short film created in just 48 hours. Prior to the pandemic, she garnered recognition at the Oaxaca Film Festival for her national script, "Cartas a mi Fantasma," based on her mother's debut novel.

    Nicole is actively involved in preproduction and development across various projects, including two short films, a series, and her debut feature film, "Perfecta." She also co-directed "Lovely," her most personal project to date, which is embarking on its festival journey. Most recently, Nicole portrayed Vanda in David Ives' play "Venus in Fur.
