Nataleigh Maree Elzein was born on 25th of June 1994 to parents Joseph Elzein and Rosina Elzein. She grew up moving from unit to unit until she was 6 when the family had settled into a house in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne. Ever since Nataleigh was a small child her family knew she wanted to entertain. She would put on characters from the age of three by mimicking the TV, she would put on dance performances with her cousins which she grew up with closely all through out her childhood and teen years. Nataleigh went to Our Lady's Primary School where she had her first drama class - soon after the course had been cancelled and had changed to music. Throughout primary school Nataleigh she had dabbled in a few hobbies. From 2000 to to 2002 Nataleigh had taken jazz dance lessons. From 2001-2003 she had taken martial arts lessons. From 2003-2005 she had learned guitar but did not enjoy the group learning experience. Nataleigh has always had a fascination with acting be it either theatre or film she just hadn't realised that it could be a feasible dream. In 2007 she was reintroduced to drama lessons in high school. She instantly fell in love. She had her first audition for Grease the Musical, a school production. She was unsuccessful at the time but this did not deter her. In 2008 her mum had found a flier for dancing, Nataleigh instantly wanted to do it. She took part in Jazz/Funk and Musical Theatre later on taking on Contemporary in 2010. In 2008, Nataleigh watched a behind the scenes of Twilight the movie. This sparked her inspiration to want to be an actress because it 'looked fun'. She went straight to her parents and said she wanted to act and get an agent, the denied her saying she was not ready for it. In 2009 She auditioned for the next school musical 'Beauty and the Beast'. She got in as Ensemble and then later auditioned for the school play 'Rebel Without A Cause' playing one of the main cast 'Mrs Davis'. After this she never looked back going on to get into 'Suessical the Musical' (2011) as Ensemble and understudy for Jojo and 'Urinetown the Musical' (2012) as Mr McQueen. The school plays she got into were 'Stories in the dark' (2010) as multiple characters and 'Hating Alison Ashley' (2011) as Jedda. During her senior year she played her most challenging role yet Helga in 'Kindertransport', she had to adopt a German Jewish accent and tackle some pressing issues that occurred during World War 2.In 2009 she directed her first play called 'Sally Spry the Super Spy'. In 2010, Nataleigh came back to her parents asking them for an agent again. She had an answer for all of their questions after the meticulous research she had done about the business side of the industry, proving that she is prepared and ready for it. In 2011, she picked up the guitar again and self taught. During 2010-2012 she had done some extra roles on shows like Winners and Losers, Conspiracy 365 and John Doe. In 2012 due to Senior year she quit dancing again. In 2013 she embarked on her journey through Film School. She had done over 20 student short films and even had a scholarship to New York City to film documentaries with nine other students (2014). She obtained her Diploma of Film and TV from Footscray City Films in 2015. It was in 2015 when she felt the need to start auditioning again and pushing her acting career; she performed at the Melbourne Fringe Festival in a community theatre play called 'Beyond the Barriers' as the abused 'Del' and did a couple of webisodes of 'The Assenders' as Shell. Nataleigh had gotten really interested Youtube and had started her channel in 2014 named Nataleigh Maree that is active to this day. It wasn't until 2016 when she took a leap and auditioned for the Celebrity Experience. In July, she got mentored by Adrian R'Mante, Matt Timmons and other Disney stars at Universal Studios, LA.
