Yasser Nabil is an Egyptian-American filmmaker based in Los Angeles. Born in Cairo, his early artistic influences were shaped by the city’s cultural landscape and experiences connected to the Cairo Opera House. He moved to the United States in 2008 to study film production at Northwest College in Wyoming, later relocating to Los Angeles in 2013, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Digital Cinema and Film Production. Working across directing, cinematography, editing, and production, Nabil has developed a cross-cultural cinematic voice rooted in emotion, identity, and visual storytelling, with directing at the center of his work.
