Dario Forzato

Biography

Dario Forzato

Mini bio

  • Dario is composer, producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles. After many years of touring across Europe, the US and Asia, Dario started writing and producing music for visual media. His work has ranged from writing and performing the theme for Ubisoft's best selling video game 'Rocksmith', to composing the theme songs for Ambie-nominated podcasts "Bunga Bunga" and "Do No Harm" (Wondery), as well as scoring a variety of independent films, documentaries, and television shows. Dario has scored the feature films like 'Sharkskin' (2015), 'Scrambled' (2024), 'Horchata With Oatmilk' (2025), and 'The Box' (2024), as well as Hulu Original documentary 'We Live Here: The Midwest' (2023), feature documentary 'A Long Hard Streak' (2025), executive produced by Sean Penn, which won him the Best Composer award at Doc LA, and most recently 'Stan Lee: The Final Chapter'. He also co-wrote and produced the song "Zero Gravity" for the feature documentary 'Zero Gravity' (2021), performed by artist Willow Stephens. In August 2022 Dario released the EP "Anomalie" for which he received two nominations at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards. "Anomalie" is an experimental cinematic album where Dario explores and pushes the boundaries of sound and music: a unique blend of organic vocabulary mixed with elements borrowed from the syntax of world, cinematic, and electronic music. Dario's abilities as a composer/music producer and a strong collaborator led him to become the founder and creative director of Evoq Music, a music production company specialized in creating music for media - including the promotional campaigns of hit TV shows like The Simpsons, Family Guy, The Masked Singer, Bob's Burgers, Duncanville, and scoring the Main Title sequences for TV shows like 'Called To The Wild' (National Geographic, 2021), 'Man With A Van' (Discovery ID, 2020), 'Mördermann' (Filmpool, 2020), 'Top Elf' (Nickelodeon, 2019-20), and 'The Healer' (A&E, 2017). Dario is a voting member of the Television Academy Arts & Sciences (Emmys) and of The Society of Composers & Lyricists.
