Mark Allen was born on February 10, 1987 in San Diego, California as Marcus Willard Allen. He earned an MFA at USC School of Cinematic Arts. He is a screenwriter and director, known for the award-winning short Violet Hour (2014) and Warm Smooth Mean (2015). He was a recipient of the Ryan Murphy TV Mentorship on the FX series American Horror Story.
