Australian actress and writer born in Melbourne, Australia to scientist parents, Prof Ros Gleadow and Prof Andrew Gleadow. Eliza Charley is known for feature films The Fort (2022), Time Apart (2020). She has worked in Television both on screen Neighbours: Road Trip (2016) and in production behind the scenes Buying Blind (2018), Secret City (2016). Eliza Charley starred in award-winning short films The Falling (2016),Sweat (2014). She now resides in Florence, Italy.

In 2014, Eliza Charley and Jess Kenneally produced the Australian theatre premiere of "Good Egg" by Dorothy Fortenberry ('The 100', CW) at the Borough of Hawthorn. Both opening and closing nights were sold out.

In 1998, at the tender age of 11 years, Eliza Charley co-produced her first stage production along with a fellow elementary school classmate. The two girls wrote, cast, designed, produced, costumed, and starred in their adaptation of the legend of King Arthur.
