Vera Weber is a Los Angeles-based film composer, pianist, songwriter, vocalist, and harpsichordist. A dual German-American citizen, she has scored several mini-series and TV films for major European broadcasters, and wrote original songs for Netflix's Woman of the Dead (Season 2). Vera studied at California Institute of the Arts in experimental modern and baroque music. She continues to collaborate with her father Matthias Weber on film-scoring and has worked as a staff composer at Hans Zimmer's Bleeding Fingers Music. Her film work has earned multiple nominations, including the Hollywood Music & Media Awards (Best Song in a Limited Series for "Rosebud"), the Televisionale Weimar, and the German Television Academy Awards. A versatile multi-instrumentalist, she has toured internationally and performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall, REDCAT, Zipper Hall, and The Troubadour, and remains active in Los Angeles's indie and contemporary music scenes.
