Rogier Jaarsma is an award winning Dutch Director of Photography and Creative Producer with over 25 years of experience. He founded Deep Thought Productions in 2000 and worked worldwide on music videos and commercials, creating worldwide campaigns for clients such as Ring, Doctors Without Borders, and UNICEF. He produced the award-winning documentary Thunderdome Never Dies (Dutch Crystal Film) and co-produced and shot Spinoza directed by Rudolf van den Berg. His first feature as DP, Vleesdag/ Meat Kills, premiered in Austin, Texas at fantastic fest, and is shown at Sitges and many other festivals world wide. Known for combining production insight, cinematography, and editing, Jaarsma brings a strong sense of rhythm and visual storytelling to every project.
