Biography

Born in 1978, his interest of film in early age but it wasn't until recently he started working with it. His passion for film has turned him into a avid film collector and in late 2006 he started a site called FilmNerden.

The site wasn't very popular and turned into being a Facebook page instead. However it didn't stop there, along with other friends FilmNerden is now run by different people alongside Robert. This has led to a number of different project spawned from the different collaborators. Including two attempts in the local film competition "Raketfilm", a competition Robert won in 2009 with co-collaborator Ola Paulakoski with the entry called "Bottennapp". What then happened is that they did a extended version with this and entered it into another competition called "Filmörnen" there they where given a honorary awards for their comedic talents.

Robert has worked in different projects after this, most notable is the music video he did with Fredrik Weileby, lead singer in the internationally know metal group Sparzanza. The video for "When Death Comes won two awards in "Filmörnen" best FX & Editing. They both work along each other under the name "Visual Hieararchy".

NerdVision is another thing associated with Robert, NerdVision is the name of the project that now is FilmNerden, NerdyCasts (podcasts) and HandKontroll all based in social media.

In 2013 he suffered a stroke during his vacation and as a result he is now half-blind. This hasn't stopped him doing his own thing, both the music videos Crone of Bell and Underneath my Skin made for Sparzanza is done after he had his stroke.
