Biography

Sophia Mayer Pliner was born in Torrance, CA. Her last project was the MSNBC Film Periodical is an eye-opening documentary.

Her career started as an infant talent in early 2012, working for Carters, Pampers, Imperial Toys and Garanimals. Sophia has worked on National Commercials for Progressive Car Insurance, Samsung, Plum Organics, X-Cell Energy, Kaleo-Auvi-Q Pharmaceuticals, Health Net pharmaceuticals, National Hardware and Disney Pixar Films. She also worked on a great PSA's.

Additional acting credits include working twice for Investigation Discovery Channel, co-staring on the Jeffery McDonald Case, 8 independent movies, 5 student movies (AFI, New York Film Academy, LACC, Art Institute of Los Angeles) and also various Music Videos, pilots, documentaries and Web series.

In addition to acting, Sophia really enjoys arts, crafts, furry masks, being outdoors and traveling with her family. With a great imagination, Sophia always loves to play and act. She is bilingual - Brazilian Portuguese & English and actively studies acting at the Palos Verdes Performing Arts Conservatory.
