Biography

Adrian G. de la Peña is a Mexican-Canadian emerging director with over 15 years of experience. He is an avid horror fan, pizza eater, and metal listener. Adrian is the founder of Machakiller Productions, a dynamic Canadian film and television production company dedicated to crafting captivating high-concept scripted, and non-scripted content. He is also an instructor for film at SAIT.

Among his highlights are participating in the 2024 Film Market Access Market Readiness Program fellowship at Marché du Film in Cannes, being part of the 2022 Blood in the Snow Film Festival Horror Development Lab with the feature film titled Naualli, and winning numerous awards for his short film T-Minus (2018), which earned inclusion in the anthology feature The Impact (2022).

As a director, Adrian has proven his ability to handle any genre or medium effectively, easily adapting his directing approach from scripted works to commercials and documentaries.
