Matthew Hersh is a Writer / Producer / Director. He got his start by working in the music industry on a variety of music videos, live concerts, and studio sessions but eventually transitioned into film.
Matthew is a big fan of cinema, particularly the horror genre! Most recently, he wrote, produced and directed the full length crime / horror / thriller anthology style feature film "If It Bleeds" which features a star studded cast filled with horror icons.
He also wrote and directed "You Promised," a crime / horror hybrid short that received numerous awards in it's successful festival run and also is featured in "Night of the Missing" streaming exclusively on Screambox. He also is known for producing both "Stiletto" and "The Plastic Men."
Another notable project that Matthew has worked on is the web series WordSmyth Words of Wisdom with Multi-Grammy & Emmy award winning artist / producer Malik Yusef and even has a script titled "Epidemic" that he co-wrote with Malik.
