Biography

Doug Ford was born on November 20, 1964 in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada. He is an actor, known for Toronah (2015), The National (1952) and Marketplace (1972).

Premier of Ontario (June 29, 2018 - present).

Rob and Doug's father co-founded Deco Labels and Tags for which both of them worked.

Father Douglas Bruce Ford (Sr.) represented the riding of Etobicoke-Humber in the Ontario provincial legislature from 1995 to 1999, for the Progressive-Conservative party. He was a "backbencher", meaning a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) that did not hold a position in Premier Mike Harris' cabinet.

His mother, Ruth Diane Campbell, was known as the matriarch of the Ford family. She died on 5 January 2020 in Etobicoke, Ontario.
