Biography

Shae-Lee is most well known for her work with the female comedy trio 'SketchShe'. Their online videos have amassed over half a billion views world-wide with viral sensations such as 'Mime Through Time'. They have performed on Ellen Degeneres and Good Morning America and her work has been featured on Mashable, BuzzFeed, Time Magazine, Forbes and CNN. Shae-Lee's fan base and audience reaches over 3.7 million people across YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. Shae-Lee's written and directed a pilot and TV sizzle for a female driven musical series entitled POSSE; the result of receiving the highly prestigious Gender Matters Grant from Screen Australia. This is the second grant she's received after writing and directing the web series 'Traffic Jam The Musical' with funding and a successful Kickstarter campaign. Last year she was selected by Sony Pictures to write and direct a short film as well as completing an anthology feature film as one of five directors for the project 'Life On The Rocks'. Shae-Lee has also directed award winning commercials for Hewlett Packard, Viacom, Universal, Pitch Perfect 2, Benefit Cosmetics, Kotex and Ford. Her piece for Bayer entitled "Thrush The Musical" has won 7 awards globally including, Festival of Media Asia & Spikes Asia Awards and Festival of Media Global in Rome to name a few! In 2017 she directed the SketchShe episode for The Slot, a sketch comedy show which aired on Fox 8.
