Cinematography Demo Reel Andrés Solórzano
Andres Solorzano is a cinematographer based in Los Angeles. He is drawn to stories about identity, culture, and the people often left at the margins.

Originally from Mexico City, his work is shaped by that perspective and by a career built between documentary, narrative, and commercial projects. He has worked closely with indigenous communities, immigrants, and social movements, approaching each project with a focus on honesty and connection.

His credits include the documentary Huicholes: The Last Peyote Guardians, the narrative feature Love and Baseball, which premiered on HBO Max, and two episodes of the Hulu series Your Attention Please. His work has screened at festivals such as Austin Film Festival, Dances With Films, HollyShorts, Rhode Island International Film Festival, and Torino Film Festival. His projects have received honors including the Special Recognition Award at the GLAAD Media Awards and the Audience Alternative Spirit Award LGBTQ at the Flickers Rhode Island International Film Festival.

He has also shot projects for Disney, Netflix Is a Joke, Hulu, P&G, Hennessy, Citibank, among many others. His latest narrative films have been distributed by HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and selected theaters.

He sees cinematography as a collaboration with the director, building a visual language that supports performance and story without calling attention to itself. His focus is to create images that serve the story.

He holds an MFA in Cinematography from the American Film Institute Conservatory and a degree in Communications from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. He is a Film Independent Project Involve Fellow and an ASC Vision Mentorship Program alum.

He is always looking to work with directors who care about story and point of view.
