Ian Brady was born on 2 January 1938 in Gorbals, Glasgow, Strathclyde, Scotland, UK. He died on 15 May 2017 in Ashworth Hospital, Maghull, Sefton, Merseyside, England, UK.
Known as the Moors Murderers, he and Myra Hindley were convicted in 1966 of the 1963-65 murders of at least three children and were suspected in the murders of two others.
