Chanel Marie Koi is a Euro-American model, actress, writer, photographer, music artist, and humanitarian.

Chanel Marie Koi was born April 21, 1994, in Los Angeles, California. Her mother of German, Russian, Samoan, and Jewish ancestry, and her father of Creole descent.

Once a secondary school graduate, Chanel decided to wholeheartedly pursue a full-time acting and modeling career rather than furthering her education. In the short duration of her relatively fresh career, Koi has already graced the runways of LA Fashion week in addition to several runway events, presented with a feature in a MAC Cosmetics editorial spread, sought out to be cast in many music videos as leading lady, featured as Gamer Girl of the Month for Gamersbliss, and was given a racy role in her first feature film "Hitchhiker Massacre" (2014). She frequently centers herself with mediation and free writing to further hone in on her innermost emotions that contribute to her creative process when creating music and finding her characters in film. Her musical interests and influences are generally categorized as avant grade electronic dance music, jazz fusion, ambient, glitch, and alternative. The most profound passions and sought out desires of her heart would be forms of artistic expression that are aesthetically pleasing visually and equally gratifying auditorily. As an intermediate photographer, Koi takes great pleasure in capturing the art of existence which would emphasize her appreciation for life and humanity. Her general focal points would include but never limited to intimate portraits, nature, macro, and scenic photography. Acknowledging Koi's literary works, she has fully developed a mystery/thriller fiction novel entitled "Six Years:Mademoislle Gweniveire" in which publication is pending. She intends to follow up with a second installment once publication is complete. As a humanitarian with a strong need to give herself entirely to the betterment of humanity, Koi volunteers her time to convalescent homes, activist groups, and countless altruistic causes.
