Tamás is a Transylvanian-born cinematographer whose distinctive visual style has garnered international recognition across narrative, commercial, and music video formats. Based in London, his work seamlessly bridges European and American sensibilities, having lensed projects from Los Angeles to India.

His recent achievement as a Berlinale Talents 2024 selectee affirms his position among cinema's rising voices. His latest work, "Praeis (It'll Pass)," premiered in the prestigious La Cinéfondation Competition at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, while also earning him the Best Cinematography Award at Linz International Short Film Festival.

His breakthrough piece "Summer Shade" (dir. Shira Haimovici) showcased his masterful command of light and shadow, winning the BSC Short Film Cinematography Competition 2020 and competing at Camerimage Film Festival. That same year, his work on "Joanna Wang: I Only Care About You" (dir. Robert Youngblood) earned a nomination for the Golden Melody Award for Best Music Video.

In 2023, Tamás shot "Scorched Earth" (dir. Markela Kontaratou), which made its world premiere at the 76th Locarno International Film Festival in the Pardi di Domani competition.
