Thilo Mischke was born on March 4, 1981 in East Berlin, Berlin, Germany. He is a writer, known for Uncovered (2016), Rechts. Deutsch. Radikal. (2020) and ProSieben Thema: Das Erbe des Dschihad (2021).

[2020, on people assuming he is arrogant before getting to know him] It has always been that way. People then go, "Oh really, you are Thilo? You are not as arrogant as I had thought." And I can't explain to you [Matthias Hielscher] what causes people to believe that I am an arrogant brat.

[2020, on why he does not mind people who hardly know him assuming he is arrogant] I also think about a lot of people that they are truly horrible before actually meeting them.

[2020] Klaas is my colleague at ProSieben, Klaas Heufer-Umlauf, and before I had met him for the first time, I always found him completely cool [i.e. distant/reserved], unapproachable and arrogant. So, you then get to know him and realize he is merely cool, he simply is a cool person and he also remains that, but he is precisely not arrogant. [...] And now I have gotten to know him over the last couple of years and I discard the sentence about him being arrogant, but what I would still leave in is [that] I think he is a really cool fellow. Not cool as in awesome, but just cool. And it is his unconditional right to remain cool, and I think it simply is a reflex of people, when you are watching others, you first look for something negative and not something positive, you maybe don't even say it out loud but you think it to yourself.
