Biography

Mazin Akar is an American actor / writer / producer of stage and screen best known for his roles on such shows and indie films as 'Marvel's Jessica Jones', 'NBC's The Blacklist', 'Blood Red Ox' and 'The Sweet East' among others.

He studied performing arts at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) and The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York, NY.

He made his Broadway debut as 'Assef' in Khaled Hosseini's 'The Kite Runner' in Summer 2022 and spends much of his time dedicated to indie theatre and film development.
