Biography

RJ Daniel's passion for telling stories through video brought him into collaboration with national clients like the Montel Williams show before turning to film and writing a string of feature length screenplays and shorts. He repeatedly finished in the later rounds of writing competitions including the Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition with both Quarter and Semi-Finalist status. The years that he doesn't have an entry of his own, he often serves as both a script reader and film screener for the Austin Film Festival. He made his directorial debut with a thriller he wrote titled, "The Boy Who Stayed" starring Eve Plumb, of Brady Bunch fame. That film screened at film festivals from the mid-west to the west coast to positive reviews. Additionally, he penned two novels both of which are available on Amazon. Most recently, RJ directed a film titled, "Awaken" and the series trailer, "Before I Wake" concurrently in Malibu CA.
